These are they—
loyal in love
and faithful in strife.
These are they who chose to dip their coats
into the cauldron of pain,
colored with the blood of the Savior,
all so they could be identified
as the sheep
born of the sacrificed Lamb of God.
These are they who hold no shame
for their obedience
and unwavering devotion.
For they are not ashamed,
nor embarrassed,
to live a life
that He died to bestow.
Filling each day
with reverence and awe,
they embrace the honor
of being called—
The Good Sheep.
The sheep of His pasture
and the reflections
of His precious gift.
The Good Sheep
are not just followers—
they are divine recipients
of heaven's best.
Therefore, they choose to be
loyal,
reverent,
obedient,
and proud
to live a sacrificial life
in remembrance of,
and in honor of,
the Lamb of God,
who was slain,
who rose again,
and became
The Good Shepherd
of us all.
