Welcome In
Welcome to a moment created just for you to pause, reflect, and respond to what God is stirring within your heart—a sacred devotional practice.
Today, we will pause to consider what it means to belong to the Shepherd, to recognize His voice, and to become a reflection of the love we have received.
Come as you are.
A Quiet Beginning
“These are they—
loyal in love
and faithful in strife.”
Governing Truth
The Good Sheep know their Shepherd, recognize His voice, and willingly follow where He leads.
Enter — Where Am I With My Shepherd?
Take a moment to tell the truth about your relationship with God today.
How would you describe your walk with Him?
Today, my walk with my Shepherd feels like:
Rest — Remember That You Belong
What does it mean to you to belong to the Shepherd?
Because I belong to Him, I can rest in:
Listen — Recognize His Voice
Where might He be inviting you to listen more closely?
The voice I am learning to recognize is reminding me:
Recognize — What Is Being Formed?
What part of the Shepherd's character do you see Him cultivating within you?
I can see Him forming:
Speak — Give Language to Your Belonging
Let your soul speak from what it has recognized.
Complete these statements:
I am His sheep, and I am learning to…
I hear my Shepherd calling me to…
The area where I am learning obedience is…
The part of His character I want my life to reflect is…
Carry — Walk With Your Shepherd
What will you carry with you as you continue walking?
A belief?
A practice?
A Scripture?
A truth?
A posture of obedience?
Because I am His, I will walk with Him by:
Closing Whisper
Good Sheep do not need to prove that they belong.
They know their Shepherd.
They recognize His voice.
They follow His leading.
And slowly, beautifully,
they begin to reflect the One they have been following.
So walk, beloved.
Walk close.
Listen carefully.
Follow willingly.
And do not be ashamed to be known as one of His.
