Love Enters

The dark is calling.

A circumstance,

a habit too hard to break,

a loss too deep to recover from alone, 

or a destructive pattern

that continues to pull someone under.

The darkness is calling-

will you enter to help save?

The souls connected to you

are in need.

Can you perceive it?

And are you willing

to enter in

so they may be reached?

Do you know what you carry?

Within you lives

 a love so deep.

A love unafraid-

bold and sure-

waiting to be released

to reveal its healing power.

Have you forgotten

how love entered 

your own dark seasons

and painful circumstances?

Because loved entered,

you are no longer the same.

You are free.

Now you must carry 

the love that lives within you.

Open the door 

and enter in.

Regardless of the risk,

in spite of the potential pain,

let love enter

and become a needed balm.

For when love enters,

victory enters too.
