Grace Awaits

Devotional: Grace Awaits

To be weak is to be open to receiving a gift.

God wraps and presents the gift of His all-encompassing, all-sustaining power to those who offer their weakness in exchange for His strength.

Yet pride blocks the door that leads to grace.
Grace awaits.

Our weakness is no match for His grace.
When we arrive at the place where our minds and souls have exhausted their efforts, grace whispers,
“Allow Me.”

Grace is the ever-present, capable help to face any giant
and conquer any fear.
Grace is the gift of love
and the promise of victory.

Weakness comes to illuminate — not to defeat —
when placed in the hands of a loving God.

He knows resistance rises as self-protection and pride.
Yet His love pursues.
With open hands, He waits — ready to do what only He can.

Grace awaits.

With kindness, He waits.
When a willing soul chooses to exchange weakness for His power,
transformation begins.

Grace waits
to empower the needing soul,
to rise from within
like David before Goliath.

A yielded soul becomes mighty by the grace of God.
Where the soul once felt incapable and insufficient,
the cloak of grace emboldens.

What once felt impossible
is now faced with holy courage.

With time and surrender, the soul learns:
its strength is not found in striving —
but in lending itself to grace.

Grace is the place
where weakness comes to rest.

No longer resisting the doorway
or grace’s gentle plea,
the weary soul enters —
and finds grace waiting.
